2008" Fair and Congress

The organizers welcome companies from abroad to join and participate in the
next Russian specialized exhibition & conference on modern electronics for
transport and transport communications "Electronics-Transport 2008", which
is to take place in February 2008 in Moscow!
The previous "Electronics-Transport 2007" fair was held in February 2007 and was estimated as a great success.
It is a unique specialized fair on CIS territory!
Nowadays the obsolete dispatch, control, security and communications systems
in Russian transport infrastructure face a great demand in intensive
implementation of modern electronics. According to analysts' estimates,
market of electronic equipment for transport applications equals up to 2,0
billion USD and has an annual growth 20-30%.
Distinctive features of transport electronics are: high reliability, safety,
modularity, mechanical and climatic stability. Specific features for Russian
transport (also vital on the territory of Baltic states and the CIS): low
temperature (up to -50oC) and dust friendliness, long mean time between
service operation, PS stability, welcome wireless technology and easy to
communicate with obsolete equipment.
The aims of "Electronics-Transport" fair are:
To provide the customers from JSC "Russian Railways", CIS city metros, city
public transport with up-to-date information about contemporary solutions in
the field of on-board electronics, control, communication, navigation and
safety systems.
To suggest prove and reliable electronic components, modules and software
for developers and manufacturers of systems, vehicle building and repair
plants and allied industries.
The forum is supported by organizations dealing with selection, testing and
implementation of electronics on transport. Specialists of JSC "Russian
Railways", International Association "Metro", Federal Agency for Industry
(Rosprom), Russian Engineering Academy, Department for Science and
Industrial Development of the Moscow Government are involved in fair and
conference preparation. The organizer of the event is JSC "ChipEXPO".
Forum "Electronics-Transport" is a unique event for engineers and technical
experts in the field of development, manufacture and running of electronics
and automation control equipment on all types of transport. It is the first
specialized fair on the territory of Russia and CIS countries. The number of
visitors in 2007 is estimated as 3-5 thousand from more than 500
enterprises.
